Groom and Bestman: Choosing their Outfits

My fiance isn't very fond of any kind of party's with family and such. He likes to wear jeans, t-shirts and snickers . And that's basically all year long. So having to put something fancy for our wedding day is not something he is fond off.

Interesting thing is, that his brother, who is a best man as well, is a total opposite. He loves to dress in a nice way. And he actually want to wear super fancy outfit for our wedding :) As he says that's the only time a man can dress fancy. Basically best man wants a morning suit. Something like this:

And my fiance said he would put a black normal suit with no shiny fabric and in a dark colour. Something like this:

Personally i think they two should work it out together. I would love to see my fiance in a fancy outfit, but it should be his own choice and not my. It is not only my wedding in the end and he must have opportunity to decide what he will wear. The only thing i hope for is that he won't come in shorts, t-shirt and sandals to church! If he comes almost in anything else - i will be all happy happy joy joy :)

But anyway. This situation is actually very interesting. I expecting any day now that those two will go to search for something to wear. And i simply have 0 idea what will they get. :) Who's opinion will win ? Ohh, i so wish i could hear all those discussions this two will have while choosing their clothing!!!

I will be telling you how it goes and what those two will decide in the end !

Steampunk/Victorian Romantic Cuffs

I've been in love with the lace cuffs since i first time saw The movie "Interview With A Vampire". At the end of the movie Tom Cruise's character is driving the car and he takes the dirty old lace cuffs form under his jacket. And there was something extremely sexy in his gesture. Yeah a man can wear lace cuffs and can look sexy in my mind :) Oh and just to make it clear.. I am NOT a fan of Tom Cruise otherwise :)

I actually forgot about cuffs for many years after that movie, but at some point they did came back to my mind. This time for good. And this feeling of wanting to pull some fantastic cuffs on my wrists became stronger and stronger. I know i am one of the most confusing people when it comes to fashion. I love such a different things.. But oh well i am what i am. Anyway with my own wedding coming closer and closer i am looking deeper and deeper inside myself, who i am and what i love. And different things are coming to my mind and I'm afraid people around me will see some changes in my everyday wardrobe as well and not only on my wedding day, as i am finding the deep down "Me". Have you noticed learning something about yourself ?

So today i will be showing one of my deepest loves... romantic Victorian/Barokko cuffs. I hope you will be able to look at them without prejudice and maybe with some little interest. What is sure, is that not every bride will have a courage or even wanting to wear them, but maybe to someone will want to try them.

This photos taken from Italian Lakes Wedding-Blog, wedding cuff design from Krista Raak

This bride had only one unique looking lace cuff on her wrist. It is interesting how such an accessory gives this beautiful bride such an unique and romantic look.

This fabulous Felted Cuffs are beaded with sea akoya, freshwater pearls and gold plated beads. They are felted from merino wool tops, cashmere and 1 yard of fabulous rare Indian silk ! Unique design by TianaChi I simply in love with Tiana's works. Her designs are truly unique and crafted with love. They are little more expensive because of the fantastic expensive materials used, but i wish one day i will be able to get something that is made by her. This cuffs could have been perfect on my wedding day, but without the golden pearls, as i have all silver and ivory coloured :)

This steampunk cuff was created from poly shantung, lace, ribbons and beautiful jewel. The base of this cuff is a corset type with lacing. Created by Seams Victorian

Cartoon Hairstyles on Your Wedding

I honestly don't know where and when i found this picture, but i would really want to share it with you!  Hopefully the one who originally made it won't get mad at me, as i simply can't find the original place anymore :(

I have a soft spot in my heart for different hairstyles. And i always loved to read fairytale stories. So when i found this picture- i was i heaven. My two favorite things at same time! The hairstyles of different princess and other popular female characters in a drawing! Isn't this cool ?

So i thought i would try to find for some of the cartoon hairstyles a "real" hairstyle :) Here is what become of that :

Snow White

Katy Perry, just a red ribbon is missing to make it look perfect!

This girl has a little longer hair than original Snow White, but i think she still fit the theme! Here

Ariel
I've tried to search for Ariel hairstyle and this one is the best I've found so far. I think the girl really looks like Ariel !

Belle

I think this girl managed to make a very good Belle hairstyle. But basically i would say that all the hairstyles that are half up and half down kinda remind of Belle's hairstyle.

Yasmin

Sleeping Beauty

Cindrella

Basically Cinderella hairstyle would be some sort of a high bun on top of your head.

Jane

Wendy

I think today's Wendy hairstyle could look like this. As no bride would want to look too cartoonish on her wedding day :)
